Esta pesquisa, ora em andamento, visa analisar a influência da NOBRADE (Norma Brasileira de Descrição Arquivística) nas disciplinas do Curso de Arquivologia da UEPB e de instituições que dispõem de arquivos em João Pessoa. Objetiva investigar, através de um corpus formado pelas ementas desse curso e dos resultados da aplicação de questionários semi-estruturados nas instituições delimitadas, a aplicação da norma nas instituições e como ela vem sendo estudada pelos futuros arquivistas e qual o grau de importância que os docentes dão a esse documento, como recurso didático, que posteriormente deverá ser utilizado pelo profissional em seu ambiente de trabalho. Este artigo revisa, ainda que preliminarmente, as normas: ISAD G (2001), ISAAR CPF (2004), mostrando que, embora a NOBRADE tenha sido baseada nessas normas internacionais, ela tem características próprias. Conclui-se que, nas instituições de ensino, ainda não há uma divulgação adequada dessa norma e de seu grau de importância. Na sua versão preliminar, a NOBRADE foi publicada em janeiro de 2006, através de oficinas que contaram com a participação de cerca de 600 especialistas da área de Arquivologia. O resultado foi de significativa relevância para o campo arquivístico brasileiro, razão por que este trabalho de pesquisa visa dar visibilidade a esse documento no âmbito da Paraíba, bem como fomentar a produção de outros estudos mais aprofundados sobre o assunto.
The present research, still underway, aims at analyzing the influence of the NOBRADE – Norma Brasileira de Descrição Archivistica – Brazilian Norms for Archivistic Description – on the courses of Archivology at State University of Paraíba and two other institutions which have archives in João Pessoa. We aim at investigating the application of the norms by institutions, by looking at the syllabus of the course of Archivology and at the results of a semi-structured questionnaire applied to the above institutions. We also examine how the norms are been studied by future archivists and what importance professors give to this document as a teaching tool since it will have to be followed by the professional in his\her future working environment. This article analyzes, even if just in a preliminary way, the norms: ISAD G (2001), ISAAR CPF (2004), showing how the NOBRADE has its
own characteristics even though it was based in these international directives. We came to the conclusion that there still doesn’t exist an adequate spread in teaching and archiving institutions of this normative and of the awareness of its importance. The NOBRADE, in its preliminary version, was published in January of 2006 through workshops attended by near 600 specialists in the area of Archivology. The result was of great importance to the Brazilian archivistic field. For such reason the purpose of this research paper is to give visibility to this document in the context of Paraíba as well as to stimulate the production of further and more indepth studies on this subject.
