Numa época de profundas transformações, advindas de revoluções econômicas, científicas e tecnológicas, a informação ganha cada vez mais espaço no atual mundo globalizado. Desse modo, o presente estudo procurou analisar os processos e arquivamentos documentais dos órgãos credenciadores da exportação, em virtude das exigências internacionais com a documentação, utilizando como principais referenciais teórico. ( PAES 2006; MINERVINI 2005). Assim, o trabalho procurou identificar como a documentação influência na tomada de decisões, nos acordos contratuais e a importância dela na organização, além de avaliar a estrutura onde os documentos estão sendo guardados e, por conseguinte a sua preservação. Trata-se, portanto, de pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e descritiva. No contexto, foram identificados quatro órgãos credenciadores de exportação na Paraíba. Após a aplicação dos questionários verificou-se que houve alguns avanços como a mudança no perfil dos responsáveis pelos arquivos e a existência de espaço reservado aos arquivos. Concluímos, portanto, que apesar das exigências internacionais, os arquivos dos órgãos credenciadores de exportação da Paraíba ainda não atentaram para o poder estratégico da informação arquivística, pois a organização dos arquivos é muito incipiente e não há nenhum meio de preservação desses documentos que estão sob a custodia do Estado.

In this way, the present study tried to analyse the processes and documentary filings the institutions of authorization for export, owing to the international demands with the documentation, using like principal referential systems theoretician. (BREADS 2006; MINERVINI 2005 So, the work tried to identify like the documentation influence in the taking decision, in the contractual agreements and her importance in the organization, besides valuing the structure where the documents are being guarded and, consequently his preservation. It the question is, so, bibliographical, documentary and descriptive inquiry. In the context, four organs were identified authorization for export in the Butch woman. After the application of the questionnaires happened that there were some advancements like the change in the profile of the persons in charge for the archives and the existence of space reserved to the archives.. We conclude, so, that in spite of the international demands, the archives of the organs authorization for export of the Butch woman still did not pay attention to the strategic power of the information arquivística, since the organization of the archives is very incipient and there is no way of preservation of these documents that are under the custody of the State.
