REVISITING DIPLOMATIC STUDIES AND ITS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ARCHIVAL IDENTIFICATION OF DIGITAL DOCUMENTS
Abstract/Résumé/Resumen
Contextualize the method of archival identification applied to digital records, so it revisits the studies of Diplomatics in Canada, through the InterPARES project and later the studies of the group of archivists in Madrid (Spain). In this way, we used the literature review of publications of the main works and authors that work with these approaches. The studies made it possible to observe that both methodologies present their differences, as the justification of each one, but that they also demonstrate their similarities, as they use as input the concepts and principles of Diplomatics and Archival Science. Therefore, the methodology applied by InterPARES is aimed at identifying the reliability, authenticity and accuracy of digital records, the method of archival identification makes it possible to demonstrate the context of production of documents, regardless of the stage they are in and the support they are in.
