Taking into account the fact that six Portuguese archives are reviewed in the pages of this journal, the text seeks to identify additional collections of documents to be found in archives and libraries of Lisbon and other cities of Portugal, having a connection with Brazil's history. It also mentions other little-known or unexplored sources of historiographic material for possible scrutiny.
