Abstract/Résumé/Resumen
Identify terms on the “2º Plano Diretor para o Desenvolvimento da Informação e Tecnologia de Informação em Saúde” (2º PlaDITIS) and relate them to the Records Management (RM). It take off of the assumptions that archives are information transfer mechanisms with the potential to foster innovations in services, and that RM guidelines are applicable in Health Information Policies. The methods of Content Analysis and Semantic Networks are used as strategies for the gathering of information in the documentary and bibliographic research. The results show that the terms related to the principles, techniques and archival procedures are little referenced in the 2º PlaDITIS, which results in the need to deepen the issues related to RM, treatment processes, organization and dissemination of organic health information in the next editions of the policy. In conclusion, it is required that managers and agents of health assistance, promotion and prevention, adopt archival practices, thus enabling innovations, reducing incongruity, professionalizing RM and enhancing organizational learning and innovations in the Health services producers organizations.
