A revolução tecnológica fez surgir o documento arquivístico digital, reconhecido como patrimônio documental, e ameaçado pelas frequentes mudanças tecnológicas. Este artigo tem por objetivo destacar uma iniciativa de preservação digital. Optou-se por abordar conceitualmente o projeto InterPARES, para aprofundar os conhecimentos e superar os desafios e ameaças aos documentos arquivísticos digitais.
Documentary heritage digital preservation in the long-term

The technological revolution introduced the digital archival document, acknowledged as documentary heritage, which is vulnerable to frequent technological shifts. This article endeavors to spotlight a digital preservation endeavor. We have opted to conceptually delve into the InterPARES project with the intention of enhancing comprehension and surmounting challenges and perils associated with digital archival documents.
