As plataformas digitais da chamada web 2.0, mais especificamente as redes sociais, não devem ser apenas vistas como meio de entretenimento e de divulgação. Suas possibilidades podem ir além devido as suas ferramentas, que possibilitam alcançar outros objetivos e participação popular, fazendo a instituição arquivística se aproximar de seu usuário. Na estratégia metodológica foi proposto um mapeamento dos arquivos estaduais que utilizam as redes sociais (virtuais). Observou-se alguns problemas no uso dessas ferramentas pelos arquivos públicos estaduais, algumas vezes gerando entropia na comunicação com o usuário. Este artigo, além de problematizar o uso feito das redes sociais virtuais pelos arquivos públicos estaduais, aborda também a teoria ator-rede originária da sociologia e antropologia social, por entender a importância do elo entre os atores (instituições e usuários) e seus respectivos laços. Esse tema permite uma interdisciplinaridade da arquivologia com áreas como a comunicação e a sociologia.
Brazilian state public archives in virtual social networks: entropy in communication with users

The digital platforms of the so-called web 2.0, more specifically social networks, should not only be seen as a means of entertainment and dissemination. Its possibilities can go beyond its tools, which make it possible to reach other objectives and popular participation, making the archival institution to approach its user. In the methodological strategy was done a mapping of the state archives that use social (virtual) networks. It was observed the problems encountered and the use of these tools by the state public archives, sometimes generating entropy in the communication with the user. This article, in addition to problematizing the use made of virtual social networks by state public archives, also addresses the actor-network theory originating in sociology and social anthropology, for understanding the importance of the link between actors (institutions and users) and their respective ties. This theme allows an interdisciplinarity of Archival Science with areas such as Communication and Sociology.
