Abstract/Résumé/Resumen
Having 141 poets and about 1.500 poems, the Automated DataBank/brazilian literature module in the Poetry Sector of the Itaú Cultural Institute provides bibliographic data about the main brazilian poets. Information is obtained through the following options: biography and books, cronoiogy, place of birth, schools/styles and themes/subjects. By means of two monitors, one for text and the other for image, the Data Bank presentes photos and paíntings portraying the poets or illustrating their lives and poems.
