This article is the partial result of a research conducted in Portuguese archives for seven months for the development of the project "Santos's Portuguese Colony: Immigration, Culture, and Working Class (1880-1930)". It aims to show some possibilities of research about the relation between the labor movement and Portuguese immigration to Brazil, from the beginning of the century to the 1930s, through the indication of contents of documents and respective archives in Lisbon.
