Abstract/Résumé/Resumen
The development of the web provides new ambiences to the networked society and to informational and social practices in the context of digital humanities. In this paper, we analyze the relations between information sciences, digital humanities, and the production and consumption of information, taking into account the materiality and institutionality of information practices. It is concluded that the materiality of information, intrinsic in digital records, asks for studies interrelated with the contexts of use and production of information.
