Abstract/Résumé/Resumen
The article analyzes correspondence sent to President Geisel during the military dictatorship and filed in the Personal Cabinet of the President of the Republic Fund, in the Brazilian National Archives. In these letters, it is possible to verify the presence of delusions on the part of the senders. Therefore, the author seeks to draw a parallel between the delusions and the political, economic, and social context when the correspondence was written.
