The authors introduce the concept of Archivistic Information to address questions related to the Archives Information Transfer Process. This concept is important not only for consolidating the values and cultural references of any community but also because it plays a significant role in preservation actions concerning documentary heritage. It facilitates the creation of meanings among technicians, documents, and users, fostering an inter-contextual perspective.
