Discutiremos no artigo a noção de documento na Arquivologia e na Ciência da Informação. Para tanto, este estudo tem por objetivo descrever sobre as possíveis contribuições que a materialidade e a institucionalidade da informação podem oferecer ao documento arquivístico. A metodologia se pautou em uma revisão de literatura e análise da mesma no campo da Arquivologia tornando a pesquisa de caráter exploratória, crítica e reflexiva. Desta forma, de maneira preliminar, o artigo buscou apresentar as perspectivas e as contribuições da materialidade e da institucionalidade da informação para o documento e relacioná-las com as noções de documento na Arquivologia.
The materiality and institutionality of information: possible contributions to the notion of document in Archival Science

We will discuss in the article the notion of document in Archivology and Information Science. To this end, this study aims to describe the possible contributions that the materiality and institutionality of information can offer to the archival document. The methodology was based on a literature review and analysis of it in the field of archivology, making the exploratory research critical and reflective.Thus, in a preliminary way, the article sought to present the perspectives and contributions of the materiality and institutionality of the information to the documentand to relate it to the notionof document in archivology.
