O presente artigo visa entender como as instituições arquivísticas nacionais do Brasil, da Colômbia e do México contemplam as ações educativas em suas estruturas, políticas e práticas. A metodologia foi de cunho qualitativo e quantitativo, utilizando o método comparativo, onde foram analisados websites oficiais das instituições, organogramas, regimento interno e legislação, bem como uma ampla pesquisa bibliográfica. Foi possível identificar ações educativas ainda embrionárias, outras já consolidadas, a inexistência de políticas em algumas instituições e as mais diversas práticas.
National archives and heritage education: a comparative research

The present article aims to understand how the national archives of Brazil, Colombia and Mexico contemplate the heritage educational in its structures, policies and practices. The methodology was of qualitative and quantitative means, using the comparative method, where official websites of the institutions were used, including organization charts, regiment and legislation, as well as a vast bibliographical research. It was possible to identify both embryonic and consolidated educative actions, the nonexistence of policies in several institutions, and several different practices.
