Objetiva refletir sobre as consequências do autoritarismo para as instituições mediadoras do Estado a partir da análise das circunstâncias atuais e pretéritas. Encaminha os apontamentos sobre a contextualização atual e acerca de aspectos sociais no panorama nacional, em paralelo a outros países no passado e no presente. Aponta que as circunstâncias para a ascensão do autoritarismo se referem não apenas à configuração tradicional de tirania, mas atualmente se refere ao ataque ao Estado e suas instituições, notadamente aquelas que possuem como função mediar informações à população, inclusive os arquivos. Conclui que o autoritarismo tenciona as seguintes consequências para as instituições mediadoras do Estado: a desregulamentação, a desconsideração técnica, a falta de compromisso com projetos de longo prazo, o abuso de imagens institucionais para propaganda e a imposição de um ritmo anti-mediato, ou imediatista incompatível com a razão de ser dessas instituições.
Consequences of authoritarianism on the State’s mediating institutions: brief notes

It aims to reflect on the consequences of authoritarianism for the mediating institutions of the state from the analysis of current and past circumstances. Forwards the notes about the current contextualization and about socials aspects in the national panorama. It points out that the circumstances for the rise of authoritarianism refer not only to the traditional configuration of tyranny, but nowadays to the attack on the state and its institutions, notably those whose function is to mediate information to the people, including the Archives. It concludes that the authoritarianism strains the following consequences for the mediating institutions of the state: deregulation, technical disregard, lack of commitment to long-term projects, and the imposition of an anti-mediate, or immediate, rhythm incompatible with the raison d’être of these institutions.
