COMPETÊNCIA EM INFORMAÇÃO SOBRE PROTEÇÃO DE DADOS PESSOAIS: estudo à luz da Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) no Brasil e da General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) na Europa

Abstract/Résumé/Resumen

The article systematically analyzes the literature on data protection competence according to the General Personal Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation. The bibliographic databases Scopus and LISA were explored. The results show that there are still few studies on the subject in Portuguese and regarding the Brazilian law, but several studies in English and about the European law. This shows the potential for future research on the subject in the field of information science in relation to Brazilian law. Studies like this help to shape a culture of privacy about personal data.
