Objetivos: Identificar as fontes documentais no fundo SNI que citam Maria Nilde Mascellani e analisar o conteúdo dos documentos, disponibilizados na base SIAN do Arquivo Nacional (AN) e no acervo do Arquivo do Estado de São Paulo (APESP) buscando reconstituir os principais fatos que tornaram Maria Nilde Mascellani um estudo de caso da condição feminina no período da Ditadura civil-militar. Metodologia: foi utilizado, na base SIAN (AN), no fundo denominado “Fundo/Coleção V8 — Serviço Nacional de Informações”, e no fundo APESP - DEOPS o termo de busca: “Maria Nilde Mascellani”, para recuperação de dossiês relativos a educadora. Resultados: Maria Nilde Mascellani, libertária em seu tempo, tornou-se protagonista da história, em suas ações contra as imposições do governo ditatorial e, por essa razão, foi alvo de uma perseguição aguda do serviço de informação e da polícia política. Conclusões: é possível resgatar a importância da figura feminina a partir das fontes documentais e demonstrar a forma como ela é retratada nesses registros.
Archive of the dictatorship: Source for the study of the female condition. Maria Nilde Mascelanni's case in SNI fund

Identify the documentary sources in the SNI fund that mention Maria Nilde Mascellani and analyze the content of the documents, available in the SIAN database of the National Archive (AN) and in the archives of the São Paulo State Archive (APESP) seeking to reconstitute the main facts that made Maria Nilde Mascellani a case study of the female condition during the civil-military dictatorship. Methodology: the search term: “Maria Nilde Mascellani” was used in the SIAN (AN) fund called “V8 Fund/Collection — National Information Service”, and in the APESP - DEOPS fund the search term: “Maria Nilde Mascellani”, to retrieve dossiers related to educator. Results: Maria Nilde Mascellani, a libertarian in her time, became the protagonist of history in her actions against the impositions of the dictatorial government and, for this reason, was the target of acute persecution by the information service and the political police. Conclusions: it is possible to rescue the importance of the female figure from documentary sources and demonstrate how she is portrayed in these documents.
