Esta pesquisa foi realizada na linha de pesquisa “Organização e Memórias de Espaços Pedagógicos na Educação Profissional e Tecnológica” do Mestrado em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (ProfEPT) ofertado no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN) Campus Mossoró. Este artigo é fruto da pesquisa realizada no Núcleo de Documentação e Pesquisa da Educação Profissional do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia da Paraíba (IFPB) e debruça em um resgate histórico da primeira década desta instituição no tocante a memória do movimento estudantil secundarista por meio do Grêmio Técnico Estudantil (GRETEC) e seu enlear com a educação não formal nos espaços formais de educação. O estudo é de natureza qualitativa com método da pesquisa documental realizado análise de conteúdo de Laurence Bardin (2011). Para entender a problemática quanto às contribuições do GRETEC na memória institucional do IFPB Campus João Pessoa, trazemos os debates voltados a educação não formal de Gomes e Vitorino (2017) e Gohn (2020) e o contributo de Michel Pollak (1992) e Ciavatta (2005) quanto a memórias silenciadas e esquecidas de grupos socias, além de possíveis contribuições para a Arquivologia, Belloto (2014) e Schmidt (2024). Nas conclusões abordamos as contribuições do movimento estudantil para a memória institucional a partir de suas lutas e como a pesquisa documental do GRETEC pode contribuir para arquivologia no tocante a incorporação desta na gestão documental e nos instrumentos de gestão.
The memory of the student council at IFPB and possible contributions to Archivelogy

This research was conducted in the research line “Organization and Memories of Pedagogical Spaces in Professional and Technological Education” of the Master's in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT) offered at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN) Campus Mossoró. This article is the result of research conducted at the Center for Documentation and Research in Professional Education of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba (IFPB) and delves into a historical recovery of the first decade of this institution regarding the memory of the secondary student movement through the Grêmio Técnico Estudantil (GRETEC) and its involvement with non-formal education in formal education spaces. The study is qualitative in nature, using the documentary research method and Laurence Bardin’s (2011) content analysis. To understand the issue regarding GRETEC's contributions to the institutional memory of IFPB Campus João Pessoa, we bring forth the debates on non-formal education by Gomes and Vitorino (2017) and Gohn (2020), and the contributions of Michel Pollak (1992) and Ciavatta (2005) regarding the silenced and forgotten memories of social groups, in addition to possible contributions to Archival Science by Belloto (2014) and Schmidt (2024). In the conclusions, we address the contributions of the student movement to institutional memory based on their struggles and how GRETEC's documentary research can contribute to archival science in terms of incorporating it into records management and management tools.
