The research aimed to know the collection of the sector file of the School Registration Coordinator through diagnosis in order to identify the types of documents produced, received and accumulated in the sector and verify the process of packaging and storage. The general objective was to diagnose the problems existing in the CRE's sector archive, especially the documents of the National Program for Access to Technical Education and Employment. The methodology adopted was the qualitative and quantitative research of an exploratory nature, in addition to the participant research and case study, in which the intervention technique was used. The process of packaging and storage of documents and document typologies were identified, quantifying the documents with the purpose of transferringthem to the Central Archive of the Rectory, storage environment of the closed fund of the National Program for Access to Technical Education and Employment. It concludes the social environment under study, is not oriented to the organization of documents by the instruments instituted for management such as laws, standards, manuals and technical procedures.
